The atmosphere was casual and timid, staff was all friendly, music was upbeat, loved three open space. Chicken was cooked perfect for the salad, I'll go back again when I'm in the area. The water front deck was enjoyable even in the rain.
I ate here on the way down to south Florida for a short vacation and it was lovely. A little hard to find but the setting was great. Food and service were both good but the outdoor seating was the main attraction for me. I'm glad I stopped here.
The pulled pork nachos were awesome. Hawaiian pork, & white cheese with pineapple salsa . We also got the soup of the day, which is a chicken, sweet potato curry soup. The soup was thick but very good . A sailboat passed by while we were enjoying our drinks and soup. Service is always good here .
Guys, WE SAW A DOLPHIN it gets a star! Sorry I'm an indoor kind of girl from the Midwest. Good signage and google map took us right there. Cute tiki atmosphere with elevated flavor cuisine and not just toke. Fried bar food! $80 lunch with 2 cocktails, starter of ceviche( was AMAZING), served with thin slices cucumber and yucca chips. Then for my hubby, dolphin salad with swordfish and shrimp, very large entre salad. I had the pork tacos with a side of the brussel sprouts Wow. Flavor in everything. 2 tacos of Pork were sweet, slaw and a cilantro crema maybe? Brussel sprouts side was chalk full of chunky ginger and cooked to perfection Again, really thought it would be fried everything seafood platters and yes, they had that, but delicious fresh items. Wish we could have stayed longer but it's near to Kennedy Space Center.
Cool place that's on the water to relax with a drink and enjoy some food. We came later in the evening and didn't have to wait for a table, but the staff was definitely spread out more so the service was slower. Everyone was very friendly and we felt taken care of. I ordered the ceviche and some tacos, which were both good, but I felt like there wasn't that much ceviche to make it worth the price for me. (Which is market pricing). The tacos also had more cabbage than meat, but they were still good. You're definitely paying more for the food because of the location in the ambience, but at least the food is pretty good! I'd definitely return to keep trying their menu items!
It was an exceedingly hot day and we were bumming around looking for open houses and produce markets. When lunchtime arrived, we decided it was time for a cold beer and a sandwich. The closest place to us at that moment was Dolphins Waterfront Bar, which we've heard was really good. Besides, we're always open to new discoveries--especially when those discoveries involve waterfront tiki style restaurants! We glanced at a loaded drink menu with at least 10 beer taps, that many cocktails, and an impressive wine list. Most of the drink choices were reasonably priced ranging from $6-10. On a hot summer day, we lean towards light and crisp, so we readily ordered our favorite local treat: Caribe Pineapple cider and settled in to explore a new menu. There were numerous fresh seafood options, along with standard fare such as chicken sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, and kid friendly options. I was significantly torn between ordering the Hawaiian style pork luau platter with grilled pineapple or the catch of the day, which was swordfish. After much anguish, we finally settled on the swordfish--and now we need to decide if we're super hungry or just looking for a lite lunch. Deciding we'd rather eat lite, we chose the sandwich, and we were NOT disappointed. We went with the blackened option and were delighted with our meal. As a side, we chose the cucumber salad, which was vinegary and Asian flavored. Nice and refreshing and a perfect accompaniment to the swordfish. Our server, Sabrina, was a delight and offered refreshingly honest opinions that helped guide us to the swordfish. She was quick and efficient and a pleasant conversationalist. All in all, today's discovery was a special treat! When we return, I'm gonna try that luau platter. Or--the Aloha curry platter. Or the fresh salmon. Oh! It's gonna be a great meal! #todaysdiscovery #blunderingdiscoverer #traviswinman
We are always looking for new restaurants on the water! Plus side, you can boat to Dolphins Waterfront Bar & Grill, which we did. The dock was super convenient, with additional boat parking if the one in front is full. The tiki bar/restaurant provides a nice vacation vibe, and really nice bathrooms. Our service was excellent and Denise(?) was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! Most importantly, I tried the Space Coast sunrise and was not disappointed in the size of the rum base drink. It was the most refreshing cocktail for a boat day!! For food, I ordered a Faux Bahn Mi Sandwich, which was seared salmon with pork belly, picked cucumbers and pickled veggies, aioli, on a ciabatta bun. It was honestly so big I ate it in a deconstructed manner, def would order it again! Sweet potato fries were cooked perfect and paired well with my sandwich.
This is a great bar with ample outdoor seating. The bartender was friendly and attentive and same with the other staff. They offer happy hour from 11am - 6pm during the week with wine and beer discounts along with several $10 appetizers. The Gouda Mac and cheese bites were deep fried but delicious! They are a must try when you are here! The seafood chowder fries were ample but it was just ok. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area!
